Ryan Gosling: 'Lone Ranger' with Johnny Depp?

Ryan Gosling may be joining Johnny Depp in Disney’s upcoming film adaptation of The Lone Ranger!

The 30-year-old actor would play the titular character, who’s a masked lawman, while Johnny would play his Native American sidekick, Tonto.

The Wrap explains that it’s still a little early and Ryan‘s packed schedule may not allow him to take on the role.

The Lone Ranger is set for a 2014 release and will be directed by Gore Verbinski, who helmed the first three films in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
