Huh? 2 years and he came up witht he same sound as before? Boring……………….You sure this isn’t off his last album?

# 2

They photo-shopped his face and decreased the width of the image.

# 3

That is not a photo shopped picture and this sound is NOTHING like he has done previously. David is stepping outside of the box and this single is upbeat and the lyrics are good and he uses NO AUTO TUNE to sound this good. Haters be GONE! =D

# 4

I love his voice, but this is pure boring a$$ dreck:(

Is this Christian Rock? Anyway, solid voice but a very boring song.

Wow. I haven’t liked anything David has done since he won Idol. But I actually like this. Upbeat, catchy. I like it. Who knew?

All right, Mr. Cook! Pop-rock and catchy bridge. You’re in great voice– music doesn’t drown out its gorgeousness. Clever turns in some parts of the lyrics. Okie-dokie!! Like it!!

Ahh I love this. It’s fun. It’s on my ipod now.

Yuck! Sounds like a Rick Springfield remake!!!

I think “The Last Goodbye” is a great song. It has a up beat that will do great on the radio and David’s voice is as great as ever. You go David!

As Randy would say, “I’m just not feelin’ it. It was just aight for me.”

I love this new song by David! It’s uptempo, great lyrics, and his amazing voice. His first post-Idol album went platinum….bet this one will too! David Cook rocks! And for those of you who don’t like him, why post on articles about him – more productive to post on people you like instead, imo.

Love Love Love this song and I am not usually a fan of pop music. This pop/rock gem is far from the auto-tuned, synthesized, techno dance track drivel that litters the radio nowadays.
The lyrics are poetic and the tune is upbeat and catchy. Only David Cook could make a break up song fun!
5 stars Mr Cook, you have a hit on your hands with this one.

Cook has a very powerful voice and this song is very nice and catchy. I love it!

I love this new song. It’s full of win. Maybe some of you need a q-tip to clean your ears.

I love David Cook’s new single. It is earworm for sure and will sound good blasting from the radio.
Can’t wait for the whole album due 6/28

Absolutely love this new record. It’s fun, catchy and he is in great voice. Way to leave us wanting more David. Can’t wait till June 28th, so I can snatch up your new record. Thank you for taking your time and creating the record you want! I have no doubt that I will love it, as you never disappoint! David Cook is my favorite Rocker and the best thing go EVER come out of American Idol!

That’s right. I said it. And for me, it is true.

Sounds like a Kelly Clarkson song to me. Not David’s type of music at all. Seems his label had a hard hand in this one.

Wasn’t sure at first, but after second listen the song had me. Like that the song has a few surprises and of course David’s voice is rich. No auto-tune needed with that voice!

Reminds me of Kelly Clarkson’s Never Again

I like it! I think the CD will be even better he always chooses easy listening songs for the first singles its his CD that will rock. I loved his cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the deep”

i just love this song. it’s catchy & fun.
