Blake Lively: Time 100 Gala!

Blake Lively shows off her new red hair at the Time 100 Gala held at the Lincoln Center on Tuesday (April 26) in NYC.

The 23-year-old actress was named one of Time‘s 100 Most Influential People for 2011!

Blake, who met up with SNL‘s Seth Meyers inside the event, wore a gorgeous Haute Couture evening gown by Zuhair Murad.

She accessorized with Kimberly McDonald jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes.

She’s one of Time’s 100 most influential people? Even fans must admit this doesn’t make any sense. This is *almost* like giving her an Oscar for her role in the Town. I read US Mag gave Jessica Simpson stylish celeb of the year….seriously? WTF is going on with publications these days? I used to have respect for Time…but not anymore. On a sidenote: BL does look gorgeous in the gown. Really liking the old hollywood glam style on her.

Now this is a nice dress. Blake, go more in this direction and not the slob boho look. This is 2011 and you are supposed to be a fashion icon according to people your age and your circle. Dress like it.
