Kelly Brook Suffers Miscarriage

Kelly Brook has suffered a miscarriage.

The 31-year-old British actress and model was five months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Thom Evans.

“I can confirm that Kelly and Thom have very sadly lost their baby. They request that everyone please respects their privacy at this very painful time and there will be no further comment,” Kelly‘s rep told U.K.’s The Sun.

In March, the couple announced they were expecting a baby girl.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kelly and Thom during this difficult time.

Last week there were pictures of them holding hands and practically floating down the street they were so happy. It was cute to see how excited they were.
    5 months along is devastating.

this is why you keep pregnancy under wraps for the first 5 months ladies!! you do not announce it to the world as soon as you’re knocked up. Lesson learned I hope.

    To morons:

I think that this is not the time to be ‘preaching’ about ‘lessons learned’. Most miscarriages occur in the first 12 weeks (or thereabouts) of pregnancy. Thereafter, fetal demise can occur for any number of reasons, and many babies are born stillborn. In principle therefore, until a Mother is holding a live-born in her arms following birth, she should ‘not announce it’. On the bright side, Kelly Brook is young and healthy and hopefully her plans for a family will work out soon.

and how do you know she’s “healthy”? you know her personally?

there’s obviously something going on here healthwise, which is why she had a miscarriage..shame the world had to be informed about it. Ladies don’t parade your pregnancy around until after your third trimester. Instead, pray and hope everything works out in the privacy of your own home. Women have no class these days.

hmmm maybe because she wasn’t married? God works in mysterious ways.

she needs to get married then she’ll have a blessed union from which a healthy baby will come.

    justsaying Says:

everything happens for a reason..maybe the baby would’ve been subjected to lifetime of suffering because there is no committment between mom & dad?

@jk: WOW is all I have to say to your comment. You don’t have to be married to have babies. Dumbass!

    Sexy Jo Says:

Considering she got knocked up within a month of meeting him – openly admitting that the child was not planned and then claiming he was the love of her – like because she knew him long enough to know that when she fell pregnant, a miscarriage may not be the worst thing for the child.

I do wonder how long the relationship after the miscarriage. I give it 9 months and fully expect the reason for the breakup to be given that the pressure of the miscarriage and they drifted apart – on the front page of a tabloid magazine. If they do split up I cannot honestly say that a miscarriage – from a childs perspective is a sad one. Simply because it was conceived with no love or commitment – she basically had birthday sex and fell pregnant. Don’t be distracted because he stuck around and was doing the decent thing. If she was decent she would have a bit more class than to put out unprotected and fall pregnant less than a month after meeting a man. If a child is not brought in to the middle of such a debacle.. it is not such a bad thing.

Despite their requests for privancy I have no doubt she will make some money out of it by selling her story. So while a miscarriage is sad, people don’t get into too much debate about how awful negative comments are because Kelly will make a nice packet if money from it.

And if you don’t agree – suspend your judgement and wait and see what happens over the next 12 months.

My point is that while the death of an unborn child is a sad thing, it is about time that these celebrities start to act more responsibly in the decisions they make and lives they lead, because life has a tendency to humble us all and redressthe balance.
