OlderCheryl Cole: Bear with My Accent!
Cheryl Cole arrives at LAX Airport to catch a departing flight on Tuesday (May 10) in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old British entertainer was in town to begin auditions on The X Factor, alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and L.A. Reid.
“I’m going to love getting to know America, and I hope you like to get to know me too,” Cheryl told the audience at L.A.’s Galen Center, EW reports. “You might have to bear with the accent just a little bit, but I’m sure you’ll get used to it.”
“Gotta tell you about Cheryl- ‘The Fierce’ is STRONG w/ this one! :) she’s lovely! xoP,” Paula tweeted.

It would be good if they include guest judges on the panel from the UK X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent such Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh and Amanda Holden.
Simon Cowell sure knows how to pick Brits with extra thick accents – Cheryl Cole (Geordie) and Steve Jones (Welsh). I can’t wait to see the public’s response to this when the X Factor first season begins.
