Sienna Miller Accepts Damages from Tabloid

Sienna Miller flashes a smile while leaving the Theatre Royal Haymarket after performing in Flare Path on Monday (May 16) in London, England.

The 29-year-old British has accepted £100,000 ($162,500) in damages in her lawsuit against News of the World.

The U.K. tabloid, which apologized for hacking her voicemails, also agreed to give Sienna documents pertaining to the case.

“Ms. Miller’s primary concern has never been how much money would be awarded by way of compensation but to know exactly what the extent of the hacking was,” her lawyer said in a statement, according to Reuters.

“She has now obtained an order which requires the newspaper to give her the information and documents she wants and that meets all her requirements from this action,” the statement added.

It’s good that Sienna is making money so she can support that boy she is dating. God knows his career is going nowhere. I mean the most famous thing about him is that he’s Robert Patttinson’s best friend. Now he will be known as Sienna’s boytoy. Looks like Tom is destined to ride on the back of others. I’m glad that Jude said good riddance to bad rubbisih!

Newspapers shouldn’t be able to print half the crap they do. They’re so desperate to sell papers, they’ll write anything. I do think that rather than awarding someone money, they should be re-writing the law about to what extent they can gossip about a person’s life without their consent.

That’s why I love Just Jared, he doesn’t write anything as a fact if he’s unsure like other gossip sites and publications. He’ll at least put a question mark, or just post photos and leave you to think on your own. At the end of the day, it’s someone else’s life, not ours.

And now she can just fade away into the obscurity she so richly deserves! Her WORST nightmare wold be that the paps stop following her one day.
