Janet Jackson & Kanye West: amfAR Gala!

Janet Jackson arrives in Haider Ackermann at amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 19) at Hotel Du Cap in Antibes, France.

The 45-year-old entertainer celebrated her birthday on Monday (May 16) and asked fans to donate to amFAR AIDS research.

“Hey u guys! Thank u for the wonderful gift of support to @amfAR n for all your birthday wishes. I love u!” Janet tweeted.

Also attending the gala: Kanye West, who walked the carpet with former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld.

FYI: Janet accessorized with Bulgari jewels from the High Jewelry and Vintage collections and Christian Louboutin heels. Kanye is wearing bracelets by Burkman Bros.

Kanye West recently closed his charity foundation, which The New York Times reported paid about $20,000 in charitable funding for every $500,000 it took in. That means Kanye West is a total fraud and POS.
I feel so sorry for that poor, disgraced white girl with him. I’m sure he has as much respect for her as he has for the name and purpose of charity.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him facing charges for it.

I think you’ll find like most celebrity that set up charity with good intention they find that the people elected to run it see it as a open bank and status symbol.

Kanye probably found this out and closed it. not let it go on as it so he can say he has a charity. HE CLOSED IT
