Kate Bosworth walks to an art studio on Wednesday (May 18) in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
The 28-year-old actress paired a cozy sweater with a fun pair of jeans with zipper detailing at the ankles.
Earlier in the week, Kate went out to lunch with a friend at Joan’s on Third, one of her favorite places to dine out.
Kate has recently signed on to star in several new projects – she’ll hit the big screen opposite Kiefer Sutherland in Fairytale of New York and act opposite Lake Bell in the indie thriller Black Rock.

If I’m being honest, I don’t think she should wear that sweater- ever again. It looks like something a college student would have worn in 1984, very utilitarian, shapeless, etc.
But, she’s trying to be a fashionista…

Well it’s good to know she’ll have a skill to fall back on if she ever gets tired of making all those A list films – easel on down the road Kate!
Just because a designer slaps their name on something coming out of a factory in China- doesn’t mean you buy and wear it.
@Madhatter: that’s how everyone in LA dresses and also artists and wannabe artists dress like that.
So, was it an art studio or an art class JJ?…..As an artist myself I’m loathing the thought of her trying her hand at art- doesn’t she have enough careers already? Actress, model, jewelry designer, fashion icon, philanthropist, movie producer….and yet she still finds time to go to art classes, music festivals, the hair salon every other week, and to read Russian literature and frolic topless at the beach! How does she do it?!!!!

She has the worst hair, so limp and scraggly and thin, almost like she’s losing her hair. And what a huge forehead, her hairline starts way back, her hair is just awful, worse part about her.
The worst thing about her is how quickly her skin is aging, it looks cleam but saggy or not healthy idk…her legs look way better in baggy clothes, those tight “fun” jeans only make her look even skinnier and her hair, of course…is way too light, too thin, too dyed…is just bad, reminds me tiny girls from school with baby hair.

You know why Alexander Skarsgard looks so miserable with her, because he haven’t f-ck in a long time, who would like to f-ck these girl??
@Madhatter: I don’t have a problem with the sweater style, it’s a classic style sweater, basic cut, etc. But it is in her favorite color, beige, and so not a good look.
@justme: she needs to chop off about 3-4 inches of hair and go with a darker shade.
And do the paps regularly hang outside art galleries in Pacific Palisades?

I hope she makes enough money with these straight-to-dvd movies to buy some new clothes and shoes. Those boots are walking her and that sweater is starting to look a little worn from repeated wears and washes. Oh, shoot…she won’t be able to afford new clothes and pay her fees to the paps and Jared. Oh, well…maybe next year!
Big surprise, she looks like sh*t again! Why the hell does she wear so much beige? With her skin and hair colour, it makes her look monochromatic. You can tell they photoshop a lot of her pics because she looks so scrawny again. Her flat *ss and pencil legs need some damn food.

Also, is that ACID WASH? Ugh! Some trends should not be brought back! BTW, walking to an art studio doesn’t mean you’re taking an art class. But I can see her wanting people to believe she’s some sort of creative genius.

@Sun: Actually No, people here in LA don’t dress like that. Yes people wearing the skinny jeans and boots but not sweaters like that. That look is uniquely her own, I’m happy to say. Woman here are wearing the shawl sweaters.
The reason paps are at art studios in the Palisades is because she called them period! Lots of celebrities live in the palisades and it is known as a private community. Celebs who lives there like it because it is low key. I guarantee locals were not happy to see paps show up to photograph this famewhore.
