OlderSarah Michelle Gellar: 'The Ringer' Sneak Peeks!
Sarah Michelle Gellar attends The CW Upfront at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Thursday (May 19) in New York City.
The 34-year-old actress came out to promote her new show, The Ringer. SMG plays a woman who witnesses a murder and goes on the run by taking on the identity of her wealthy twin sister.
“With Buffy [the Vampire Slayer], I got to do so much. So what do you do next? What do you do that an audience hasn’t seen you do? But bringing to life two characters and making them different, but at the same time interesting, and [showing] the similarities is definitely a challenge I’ve never done,” she told EW.

I thought this series was going on to be on CBS net..but it is on the CW which CBS owns.
I really wish she’d gotten the “green-light for her HBO series or even Showtime. Those cable nets are producing the best shows right now. ..much meatier/edgier roles.
I will check this since I like her. She really held it down all of those years on Buffy!

I liked SMG on ‘ All My Children ‘ & ‘ Buffy ‘ , but this trailer looks hideous. I wish her the best. Yes, I wish her HBO pilot was picked-up because HBO always have quality shows , and they nuture programs properly.

I hope Sarah Michelle Gellar does more mainstream movies from now on. She is an underrated actress and should have joined the A-list years ago. So, I hope she does more mainstream movies, tries to reach her full potential as an actress and tries to win an Oscar.
The previews wont load for me unfortunately =( But I am really hoping for the best for this show, totally love SMG! She looks great, aging very nicely!

When I read the desciption of the new series it sounded sorta, well crap, and i was really surprised it was picked up. Ill be really surprised if it gets a second season, but maybe itll find its feet after a few episdoes. we’ll see. SMG isnt the greatest actress out there, but she is talented and I hope this works out for her. Movies didnt really work out for her so I think gettin back on tv is the best thing. Hope this all works out
