OlderBeyonce: 'Run the World (Girls)' at the Billboard Awards!
Beyonce stuns the crowd with a performance of her new single “Run the World (Girls)” at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 22) in Las Vegas, Nev.
The 29-year-old entertainer received the Billboard Millennium Award during the ceremony and also is nominated alongside Lady Gaga for Top Dance Song for “Telephone.”
Beyonce was honored by First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, mom Tina Knowles, among others in a pre-recorded video played before her performance.
After Bey performed, Tina presented the award to Beyonce, who gave a touching acceptance speech.
