Orlando Bloom: Not Starring in 'Idea in America'

Orlando Bloom carries a cup of water while leaving the gym on Thursday (May 26) in Brentwood, Calif.

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that the 34-year-old British actor was attached to the upcoming comedy, Idea in America, alongside Nick Nolte and Stanley Tucci.

But Orlando‘s rep tells JustJared.com that the casting rumors are untrue and he is not starring in the project.

Orlando can next be seen in The Three Musketeers, opposite Milla Jovovich and Logan Lerman. In case you missed it, check out the action flick’s trailer!

Uhmmm, no.
He will just be busy playing an Elf….in The Hobbit…you know, one of the most anticipated movies in history!

I’m so happy that he will be in The Hobbit!!
I love him!

I just had a major geek out then, yuss!

No-one knows why he’s wearing his wedding ring around his neck, as he hasn’t said.

yuuuuuuuuuuuush the hobbit!!!! so awesome~ i’m going to the midnight showing of that movie too. as much as i love guillermo del toro, i’m happy P.J. is doing it. he just has so much love for the books, he and the weta workshop are the only ones for the job :D

@SnOOKIE:

He refuses to wear his wedding ring. I have a theory about douchebags who refuse to wear a wedding ring. They dont really want to be married.

If he didn’t want to marry her, he would never have said ‘I do’.
My grandfather has never worn a ring, and he and Grandma have been married for 56 years. A ring does not a marriage make.

Neither I nor my husband wear wedding rings. In my case it has something to do with not wanting to feel “owned” and conventional. But that doesn’t mean I’m not committed to our marriage.
