OlderHilary Duff: 'I Like Being a Brand'
Hilary Duff heads to her car after a day out and about on Saturday (May 28) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 23-year-old actress recently opened up about her past, and discussed her hopes for the future.
“People aren’t just actors, singers or whatever these days,” Hilary told the Miami Herald. “I like being a brand.”
“For a long time, I worried about my reputation and how people perceived me,” Hilary said. “One thing I did when I was younger was not concern myself with the project I was picking. I was just having fun.”
Hil added, “With all of it, I’m taking my time more, these days, trying to make the best decisions possible.”
FYI: Hilary is wearing the Krisa Wide Leg Pant in Indigo.

I guess being a “brand” is what you do when you aren’t very good at anything…she’s not a good singer, she’s certainly no musician, she’s not much of an actress…and I imagine her “books” are written by others.

Yes, bad choice of words. A brand is nothing more than product, a commodity. I doubt she’d want to be those things, let alone treated like one of those things. I think the word she is looking for is versatility.

The saddest part of this person is not that she has NO actual talents, or that she’s as dumb as a rock or that she often resembles a miniature horse, it’s that she genuinely BELIEVES she has talent and is worth the money these idiots pay her. Ela pode nao ser um grande talento como Angelina jolie, mas é uma pessoa com carater, ela tem valores familiares, nao se envolve com escandalos, nem com drogas, e nem é vulgar, e o melhor de tudo ela é linda.
