Mary-Kate Olsen Talks NYU Fashion Sense

Mary-Kate Olsen arrives at LAX airport for a flight on Monday (May 30) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old fashionista was only in town for a few days before leaving again.

Mary-Kate and her twin sis/business partner Ashley recently filled Style.com in on their unique fashion looks from when they attended NYU – dubbed “homeless chic” by some people.

“That moment for us was us waking up, going to school, and not wanting anyone to take our picture. Kind of a piece of protection,” Ashley said.

“For me, it was so cold, like the wind chill,” Mary-Kate added. “How could you not put on 20 things when you’re going from Los Angeles to walking through the snow?”
