OlderNikki Reed: Engaged to Paul McDonald?
Nikki Reed and her boyfriend, former American Idol contestant Paul McDonald, are set to tie the knot, E! Online reports.
The 23-year-old Twilight star flashed a piece of jewelry on her left ring finger at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, which she attended with Paul, 26.
A source confirmed to E! that the two are engaged, while Nikki would only tell the website, “He’s the one.”
Last month while celebrating her birthday in Las Vegas, the couple got each other’s names tattooed on their fingers, according to HollywoodLife.

Congrats! I don’t think they’ve been dating nearly long enough to get engaged but when you know, you know.
Yikes, I’m all for this couple, but come on ..when it’s THAT soon, pretty much obvious you’re still lovestruck.
@Kari: totally agree! Nikki is a really smart girl which is why I believe her choice was well thought out. Paul too is smart and has his stuff together. I’m soooo excited for these two! I totally called it when they met at the Red Riding Hood premiere!

Hm did not see that coming based on the kind of girl she is but I am happy for them and wish them luck and hope it works out for as long as it can in Hollywood.
I am not going to cast judgment on how soon it happened because I got married to my husband at 18 and 22 years old and we had been together that end of July got engaged in November and married in December that year because it was the only way to be together because of his job and him being overseas, we were told it was to soon and people talked even family! that it would not last even my own mother bet that it would not last over a year and now we will be celebrating our 12 wedding anv this December so young couples can make it.

They should probably wait considering they’ve only been dating like two months or so, but it’s their choice so I’m happy for them either way! I was a big fan of Paul’s this year on American Idol and I adore Nikki too. And they do make a beautiful couple! :)

Whats the big deal… MY parents got married in the two months they dated and have been together for 22yrs… when you know you know.
They started dating in March, moved in together not long after, then obviously married. I guess Nikki payed for everything, considering he can only sell music online. Soo 7 months.. that’s fast but i’m sure its thought out.
