Elle Fanning: J.J. Abrams Was So Good with Us!

Elle Fanning rocks a Tim Van Steenburgen bodysuit and a vintage skirt from Archive Fashion Library in a new feature for BlackBook magazine’s June/July 2011 issue, featuring cover model Nicholas Hoult!

Here’s what the 13-year-old Super 8 actress had to share with the mag’s Megan Conway:

On filming Super 8 with J.J. Abrams: “J.J. was so good with us. When we were doing the big train-crash sequence, all these explosions were going on, and there were so many people everywhere—and then you have these six kids. He had to take care of us and make sure that we weren’t getting into trouble. There was fire. He’s obsessed with his iPhone, obsessed with Angry Birds. He’d just be sitting in his chair playing Angry Birds.”

On the acting advice she got from Francis Ford Coppola: “He told me, ‘You always have to love it. You can never just act because someone else wants you to. You always have to feel it in your heart,’ which, well, I thought that was great. And it’s so true!”

On big sister – and fellow actress – Dakota: “We haven’t gotten really competitive with movies yet. I don’t think we ever will.”

FYI: Elle accessorized with an American Apparel belt and stockings by Prada.

Elle is so so so much prettier than Dakota!

They are both so pretty in different ways. I used to be annoyed with Elle because I assumed she was another product of Nepotism but the more and more I hear/see of her the more I notice she is down to earth and talented.
For some reason I think she will be more active in the movie industry as an adult than her sister.

thats a 13 yr old in that picture?! ummm

very inappropriate and pedophile enticing pose for a 13 yo.

She’s a child, for gowd’s sake. Keep her out of here!

she’s so tall and pretty for her age, but when you listen to her you realize she’s just and adorable child. I hope hollywood doesn’t insist in making her older

she doesn’t even look 13?

She seems so poised and mature, and looks lovely here! I hope she stays this way! I never cared for Dakota, but I absolutely adore Elle.

You pathological prudes. Have you never attended the ballet? That is dance gear. Elle is a ballerina. Go suck eggs.

She’s 13 and this photoshoot is already sexualising her. leave the poor kid alone!

The NEXT Leo Di Caprio’s GIRLFRIEND!

Elle is sexy, HOT! Looks like that is what they were going for.

So you are still on that prude trip?
The General Electric-designed reactors in Fukushima are spewing radioactivity into the ecosystem. It takes only breathing in a single “hot particle”, to cause cancer. A hot particle is like a hot coal breathed into the lungs that never burns out. It may take up to 20 years to cause the cancer, but it may take less.
People on the West Coast have been breathing in about an average of 5 hot particles a day, that were carried by the winds across the sea from Japan. If it was only one or two hot particle-caused cancers, they could maybe be cut out from the lungs with surgery. But 5 a day…
Now, what G.E. did to you with their failed design nuclear plants, they also did to you in another way, by poisoning your mind with sexual repression/hysteria via TV psyops on NBC, (that they just unloaded on Comcast), and MSNBC, via deliberate, calculated, constant moral panic programming.
You say sexualization of children, I say sexual repression. But bottom line, their programming is/was just as deadly as their hot particles from Fukushima.

A 13 year old in a provocative thigh highs photo shoot.

Pretty sick.

Desperate to sell magazines any way possible as the magazine industry dies.
