OlderChris Pine & Jaime King: 'Super 8' Premiere!
Chris Pine meets up with director J.J. Abrams at the premiere after party for Super 8 on Wednesday (June 8) at Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.
Earlier in the evening, Jaime King hit the black carpet in Proenza Schouler with husband Kyle Newman.
After the premiere, the couple hit the grand opening of Lexington Social House in Hollywood.
Chris first showed off his scruffy beard last week while leaving Papaya King with a group of friends.
FYI: Jaime finished off her look with Jimmy Choo‘s “Claudia” clutch, Brian Atwood‘s “Maniac” pumps, and Vhernier‘s “Vague” earrings and “Pirouette” ring.

This movie looks really good! I like how their marketing team didn’t give away too much in the trailers. That means it will be a good watch

I have seen many actors celebrities here lately with a beard, Chris Pine, Ashton, Leo and others.
I’m wondering if this is a trend in Hollywood, or they are aspiring to the same character, or maybe their agents and publicists have told them that with a beard, they look older and tougher guys.

He shouldn’t shave it completely off, maybe trim it a bit but I can’t say enough how much I like guys with beards. I guess I just have a thing for them. Lol. Maybe it is for a role.

And for a role? … is what I thought! … but what? … when? … I guess it’s not for Captain Kirk… and if they will shoot Star Trek in the fall… and if it is to another character… he would be already shooting, I think… as Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, John Cho are doing now … I’m curious, whatever! LOL

I have no idea who Jamie King is. Anyway, I thought this was about JJ Abrams promoting his film Super 8. Chris and JJ look very good. I hope Chris enjoyed the film. Just saw it yesterday – good film.
Having a beard seems to be the latest fashion for men all round. I want to see “my captain” clean shaven though. That way his fine, lovely cool facial features are more easily seen. What is good though now is that we can still see Chris’s lovely lips, even with the beard. There may be another role coming up for Chris, which could very likely have the character sport a beard, but I thought the shooting of the film “Mud” would not be happening until next year. Perhaps they are able to do it now, hence the full beard.
Speculation and yet more speculation – throw us a bone here, Chris.
