OlderGwen Stefani: Zuma Wears a Sling
Gwen Stefani steps out in a unique outfit as she joins her No Doubt bandmates on Tuesday (June 7) in Culver City, Calif.
The 41-year-old rocker and her bandmates teamed up to raise money for Japan after the devastating earthquake earlier in the year.
Also pictured inside is Gwen stepping out on Saturday (June 4) with her 2–year-old son, Zuma, who recently had an accident and injured his arm!
Zuma fell off a counter top in the family’s home and reportedly broke his arm. “It was one of the worst nights of our life,” papa Gavin Rossdale told People, adding, “It was one of those freak…accidents.”
“He’s fine now,” Gavin assured the mag, adding, “The kids are never alone and you turn your back – it takes a split second.”
Scary – hope Zuma‘s arm heals quickly!

This child needs a hair cut!! A 2 year old boy with a pony tail. Next she’ll be putting make up on him.
I know this is such a double standard, but here goes. I love this outfit on Gwen Stefani; she totally rocks it. If it were any other celebrity, I’d say they were a dork. :)

It’s easy; they are on the counter, you turn to get something from the fridge and down they go. I’ve heard of many , many kids getting hurt like this, one kid I know climbed up to get cookies from on top of fridge, down he went. Two yr. olds are famous for trying to exceed their actual climbing ability! He seems fine tho, but this is parenthood. My 6 yr. old cut his finger in school with blunt end scissors! 5 Stitches later, he was ok. It’s what kids do, you can be right there next to ‘em.
accidents happen..even to celebs’ kids. they are just human. but..can you imagine the uproar if this had happened to say..britney spear’s kid or angelina jolie’s? there would be talk show discussions about how britney was an unfit mom or angelina has too many kids to watch etc etc.
I used to like GS much more, but since she no longer seems to do music, I find she is trying SO HARD, like she need so much attention, likely because she knows she’s now irrelevant due to being an aging pop star, not easy, that is a young gal’s game. They way she dresses scream “trying to be edgy”, the parading her kids around like they are dolls she dresses each day for her own purpose, she bleaches one’s hair, the other is her surrogate girl. I don’t know when she became so desperate for “look at me, remember me!!!”
Sorry but that kid Zuma is not cute, looks like a little old man. And the ponytail on a toddler boy looks ridiculous. The only way that Gwen is going to get the mega-attention she seems to crave (those Cannes pics were all staged, she calls the paps it’s obvious as she gets barely any hits), is if she finds her hubby with a man (very likely) and goes through a split and she finds herself in the spotlight that way. Otherwise, she’s a big yawn.
That’s a beautiful little boy he will be perfectly matched with the beautiful Affleck daughter Saraphina.
Shame poor boy. I remember looking after my nephew and he was learning how to crawl and he fell on the tiles and his lip was bleeding and he was crying and so was i. He was such a brave little boy because half an hour he was ok and i was still shaking.
The poor kid probably ran into a wall because he couldn’t see where he was going with his “fabulous floppy hairstyle” in his eyes.
@raven: you obviously don’t have kids or never broken a bone from a simple fall. it happens especially with kids. they climb on everything my 5yr ol fell off a chair @ home fractured the lil floating bone in her elbow. She had a full arm cast on for that lil fracture to immobilize the arm. You don’t need to get into a car crash to get a full arm cast. also I dont get the fire bit. i thought you come out of fires with burn trauma not broken bones haha
Candy, ITA. From day one, she has treated these kids like accessories – getting them dolled up for the paps and then pawning them off on nannies when the going gets tough.
It’s all a part of being a kid. Nice that he does not have 5 nannies hovering over him at all times. I have to give Gwen that.
@candy:she doesn’t parade around if anybody cared about you you would get photographed in your everyday routine. its called being a celeb. just cause she hasn’t released anything doesn’t mean she’s irrelevant. she has made it public her family comes 1st. As for her families style they’re rock stars. may not be our style but do u expect them to wear polo tees and dockers ?
