Whoopi Goldberg hits the red carpet at the 2011 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.
The 55-year-old The View host is nominated during tonight’s ceremony for Best Musical for her work as a producer on the musical Sister Act!
The other shows nominated for Best Musical include The Book of Mormon, Catch Me If You Can, and The Scottsboro Boys.
Sister Act is also nominated for Best Score, Best Book, and Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical!

I am not a fan of Whoopi. She is sub-human because she defended Mel Gibson, Roman Polanski, and Michael Vick with his dogs on ” The View “. I want her to go away. Goldberg is only angry & bitter because she is no longer in demand as a film actress.
