Jim Carrey is all smiles heading into the Ed Sullivan Theatre to tape an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday (June 15) in New York City.

The 49-year-old funnyman was there to promote his latest comedy, Mr. Popper’s Penguins.

During the show, Jim decided he wanted to do-over his entrance and performed a cover of the Black Eyed Peas‘ hit single, “I Gotta Feeling.”

Mr. Popper’s Penguins hits theaters this Friday (June 17)!

My dream man. Jason Momoa is my fantasy man, James Franco is my husband, Keanu Reeves is my old flame and Tom Hardy is my lover….. I know I have good taste XD ….Hey, we all dream. It’s our only true freedom ha. Anyway, back to Carrey. Ahhhhh he’s perfect. If only I could find a man like this. He is the funniest of all, seems to be a good character, not stupid or shallow. And well, he’s quite handsome =) Looooove him. He’s my favorite actor. Of all time. I love all of his movies. Who can forget Ace Ventura or the Mask or Bruce Almighty ?! (among many others) <3

Since his days on “In Living Color” Playing the female weight lifter on steroids…to Fire Marshall Bill… have always liked Jim’s work.
He has perfected that “rubber-face” look and his physicality just makes me laugh.

The guy has such range …from Truman Show, Lucky no 7 to Ace Ventura…he seems like his goal is only to entertain.

I rarely see him in public and don’t read much about him ..so that –for me–doesn’t distract from any character he plays. He rarely appears in public …only to promote his movies…unlike press hounds today.

Go Jim!
