OlderAlicia Keys: Keep A Child Alive Ball!
Alicia Keys hits the red carpet with hubby Swizz Beatz at the Keep A Child Alive Ball, held at The Roundhouse on Wednesday (June 15) in London, England.
The 30-year-old musician hit the stage at the show to perform with English rapper Tinie Tempah and to help raise money for the organization, which she founded in 2003.
“Now becoming a mother makes me understand more about activism, and being a musician enables me to have a voice to speak to people, and I think that they all feed into each other,” Alicia said (via MarieClaire.co.uk).
Keep A Child Alive assists African and Indian children affected by HIV and AIDS.

Lovely lady!
She’s very pretty but I don’t like her music anymore. She sold out. She used to be unique with the braids and all, I know they have to change to remain in the spot but she could have kept a bit of what made her THE Alicia Keys. Now her music sucks. I don’t remember one good song from her lately. And I still know her old song back from her very first album by heart. That speaks volumes!
Oh and charity my ass. I don’t support her since her “plz regular people give poorer people your hardly-earned money. I have millions but I can’t give it away, I have villas and cars and clothes and a lot of expensive things to buy for myself and my baby, plz YOU regular poor people HELP. I can’t do more for this world than ask for your help” UGH. Yeah RIIIGHT.
I was just thinking about her the other day and how low key she’s been since having Egypt. She looks lovely.
