Cheryl Cole Opens Up About 'Weirdest Past Few Weeks'

Cheryl Cole is assuring fans she’s “absolutely fine and more than ok” after the recent drama surrounding her U.S. X Factor gig.

“Hi my Gorgeous ones. It’s me! I wanted to talk to you all direct, and first and foremost thank you all for your continued love, unbelievable LOYALTY and support and remind you that I love you all to bits. Where do I start? I have had the weirdest past few weeks (nothing unusual there though.) I wouldn’t even know how to begin to tell you all about it,” the 27-year-old British singer wrote on her website.

Cheryl was slated to be a judge on the upcoming Fox singing competition but was eventually replaced by Nicole Scherzinger, who was originally set to co-host the show.

“It also breaks my heart a little when I hear that some of you worry about me and need to know that I am ok,” she added.

As for how she’s been spending her time off, “I have had the time that I have not had in so long to just chill with my loved ones and do the normal things that I like to do. See my friends and family and be with my doggys [sic]. It feels long overdue and sooooo good, even my feet are happy to not have to wear a pair of high heels.”

“I’ll speak to you all soon when I have some new news, until then I salute you,” she said before signing off with “lots of love and cuddles. Love me CC x.”

They will see air the two first episodes when she was a judge. I am curious to see how she did and what really made them fire her. I listened to her for the first time on You tube and I could hear what she was saying. It sounded a bit Irish to me.

I wanted to see her on the show but when I heard her voice for the first time the other day, I did change my mind. Im sorry as an American it was really hard to understand and I could see many people tuning out because of that….I think it was a wise choice.

as a proud American fan of Cheryl. i have to say to you Simon Cowell your behaviour is appalling, you Simon caused Cheryl huge distress, humiliation, and embarrassment, Nicole former manager Mr.Haddad said he received personal assuranes fron you Simon that Nicole would be the judge and that you Simon used Cheryl for publicity to hype your show.without Cheryl knowing about it. WOW Simon what a way to treat a friend. Simon you said that you wanted two hosts for you show. HEY Simon you did not fill Nicole place as host. you lied Simon. and Simon you never offered the judging job back to Cheryl. you Simon wanted Cheryl to breach her contract so you Simon wouldn’t have to pay her. I WILL NEVER WATCH X FACTOR

and one thing. Simon think he’s sort of a marketing genius, who can juggle people like they are nothing

I actually hope X Factor fail. His judging panel is predictable and the show got interesting when he added Cheryl Cole to the mix. I keep hearing how execs were worried America wouldn’t understand her, but heck, Paula is incoherent majority of the time I hear her speak anyway. I bet people would understand her more than Paula. So whatever Simon!

    Allie Says:

It wasn’t about her accent. It was just that she wasn’t very good. She was unknown in America so at the auditions she had to stand out. She had to be funny, outspoken, brash. All the things she was in the uk. She lost all her confidence in the USA. Having her and paula on the same panel was a bad idea as they both had the same role of having chemistry with Simon on AI/x factor before. It seems obvious that LA reid had no respect for cheryl like he does for nicole.

And I wouldn’t believe anything that nicoles FORMER manager says. He was fIred for a reason. The uk tabloids would have paid him large money to say anything. This was the biggest story behind the royal wedding here.

X Factor US is literally American Idol all over again. I’m from Britain and would have watched the US version if Cheryl was on it. Now I have no interest and would prefer them not to show it in England.

    Emma Says:

@Allie: What gives Nicole Scherzinger to judge talent when she has yet to have a successful SOLO career here in the U.S.? Nicole music is rubbish just look at the charts they don’t lie. the talentless Nicole is at the bottom and will always be at the bottom of the charts.
