Rami Malek Covers 'Troix' June 2011
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn‘s Rami Malek takes the cover of Troix‘s “Bad to the Bone” June issue.
Here’s what the 30-year-old actor, who also appears in Tom Hank‘s and Julia Roberts‘ Larry Crowne, had to share with the magazine:
On how he scored the Larry Crowne role: “I went to see Tom to thank him for the incredible experience of filming The Pacific. We talked about how it compared with his experience of filming Saving Private Ryan and about our separate boot camp experiences. We laughed. He’s just a ridiculously funny man, and by the end of our conservation, he told me that one day down the line we would work together. I wondered if it would ever happen, but he was speaking the truth. He’s a man of his word.”
On what he hopes for his career: “Telling gritty, compelling stories with creative filmmakers … But I could easily wind up in a traveling circus if I’m not careful.”
On Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon: “There is something unique about [him], in that he can get you to do something special and interesting on camera without letting on that your last take was absolute crap. And it’s genuine the way he does it; there’s nothing dishonest about it.”

Hes hot.
I remember him he was in the show War at Home and he was also in Night at the Museum. Can’t believe he is 30 i thought he was in his 20s.
He was fabulous in The Pacific!
I didn’t think “The Pacific” was as good as “Band Of Brothers” but the more and more I catch episodes of it the more and more I have grown to like it.
Rami was totally compelling in The Pacific… I wish him well in his career as I think he’s very talented, and yes, cute too.
