Keanu Reeves: 'Ode to Happiness' Book Signing!

Keanu Reeves reads an excerpt from his first book, Ode to Happiness, at a book signing at Waterstone’s Piccadilly on Saturday (June 18) in London, England.

The 46-year-old actor recently told the UK’s Guardian that he hopes to write more books in the future.

“I hope we get to do another book,” Keanu shared. “I’m considering another idea I call Haikus of Hope. Basically like, ‘I want to kill myself’, and go from there. Going into such a dark place that you can somehow surprisingly find the light at the end of the tunnel – but a nice end of the tunnel. Not the end of the tunnel.”

Ode to Happiness is a grown-up’s picture book, a charming reminder not to take oneself too seriously.

Should have been there. He’s funny, fiercely intelligent, charming and not a shred of arrogance about him. A real gentleman. Pity men like him don’t exist in the ‘real’ world. And so expressive. A tad on the shy side, I thought as well. Not altogether comfortable with all the fuss and attention but so gracious to the audience. Happily sat for over an hour and seemed in no hurry to leave. If that was acting, then he’s far better than anyone gives him credit for. A lovely, lovely man. If anyone ever snags him, she’ll be the luckiest woman in the world.
