Brit Marling: 'Another Earth' Screening!

Brit Marling steps out in Balenciaga for a screening of her new film, Another Earth, on Thursday (June 23) at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old actress hit the Los Angeles Film Festival event with co-writer and producer Mike Cahill and her co-star William Mapother.

Synopsis for the drama, out July 20: “On the night of the discovery of a duplicate planet in the solar system, an ambitious young student and an accomplished composer cross paths in a tragic accident.”

Brit recently chatted about her success as a screenwriter, telling the N.Y. Times she approaches the process from an actor’s perspective.

“When I’m sitting writing, I know that something works if I’ve made myself cry, or laugh, or have a visceral emotion. Also, I work with collaborators, and I think we’ve gotten very good at editing each other’s work. And lastly, I just practiced a lot,” she added.

Looking forward to seeing this intelligent (from the trailers I’ve seen)
film. Lovely actress. Like the dress too.

She stole the dress of her grand ma!

She is so ugly and looks old for a 27 years old. Just so plain, ordinary and ugly.

I loved Another Earth and am looking forward to The Sound Of My Voice. I really admire Brit because she doesn’t sit down and just wait for roles, and let’s be honest, most roles for women these days are rubbish, they are just there to make the leading man look good, BUT Brit is hands on, she co-produces and co-writes the script, hence her films and roles are really interesting. Other stupid actresses who are forever complaining about there not being good roles for them etc should get off their lazy bottoms like Brit does. I hope Brit and her friends continue to make wonderful films together.
