Emma Stone Covers 'Vanity Fair' August 2011

Emma Stone wears a striped bikini on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine’s August 2011 issue, on newsstands Thursday (June 30).

Here’s what the 22-year-old actress had to share:

On dealing with paparazzi: “[One] stands up while I’m walking to my car and is like, ‘Hey, Emma! Listen, I’m going to delete these pics. Here’s my card. If you ever go to the beach with your friends or walk out of your house in your pajamas, call me.’ He’s like, ‘But I’m deleting these pictures, see?’….These guys try to strike up a deal with you so you feel like they’re your friend. I didn’t even know that was a thing – that people would call them.”

On not wanting to speak about her private life: “Talking about this stuff is pretty new. The only solution I’ve come to when it comes to things like that – the health of my family or dating, really personal things – is not to talk about it.”

On her former job at a dog bakery: “I think three people called my specific cookies inedible to their dogs. I’m not a super-talented dog baker.”

At first look I thought it was Lindsay Lohan

# 2

Love the cover, it’s amazing how she always manages to look a little different.
Also like the stylist’s choice to darken her brows and keep her skin pale- looks slightly vintage and definitely classier than the typical bikini photo shoot- not an easy task.

@Dina: Don’t insult Emma like that

# 4

Ooo, she looks terrible here. They were trying too hard to make her look like something the hollywood machine would spit out.

# 5

@Dina:
I agree- before all the alcohol and drugs. Kind of sad, I thought she was once a natural beauty.

# 6

I thought that was Kara Tointon.

baaaad pic… maybe it looks better ‘in person’

She looks good. Very talented and a funny person.

Why is she everywhere? Stop being such a fame*****

average annie.

Aside from Lindsay Lohan, she also looks like Amanda Seyfried… I wonder if she could get a real “face” identity….

Emma has three movies out in the summer, one in which she is the star. Promotional duties.

nice cover but like her better with red hair

She’s really NOT that exceptionally hot or pretty – just on a level of okay… hmmm… next….

I want her bathing suit!!! Where can I find it?!

What did they do to her face?

She looks far better than her cover.

she looks too plain as a blonde, I know I know it’s her natural color, but she is stunning as a red head, I’m glad she;s dyed it back! This picture though, nothing special.

Would Andrew Garfield or a male celebrity of Emma’s caliber pose on a magazine cover in swimwear. No and you know why? Because they have self-respect. That’s why women only play girlfriends in need of saving and men headline multi-million dollar franchises.

Men appear on magazine covers shirtless all the time. Go to your local supermarket. Go outside and experience the world.
This is the first time Emma has done a sexy cover shoot.
And she looks gorgeous and healthy and happy.
Love this girl. Why can’t we all just love a young, beautiful and talented girl who’s enjoying life.
Stop being so bitter and hateful.
Emma’s one of the good ones.

@derek:

Average insecure homo who has to diss a girl’s looks as if they were Amy Wineshouse.
