The special effects for this franchise are amazing.
Haven’t seen any of the MI films and I really really don’t like Tom Cruise, but only because of his “religion”, where he’s got his head buried in the sand with what’s going on right under his nose. Google The New Yorker $cientology story and make up your own mind.
Anyway, much as I’d LOVE to see this movie, it does look awesome, I will not give my $10 to Tom Cruise until he leaves the “church”. Period.

@Sassy: I’m not a fan of Tom Cruise either, but why walk around this earth getting offended? Too bad, if I were in your shoes I won’t let my being judgmental (afterall I’m a Christian) ruin the fun of enjoying a potentially good exhilirating movie. But then again it’s your money & your choice. Good for you.

@Sassy: How prejudice of you. You shouldn’t judge someone just because of their religious views. His personal life shouldn’t dictate whether you like him as an actor or not. So what if you don’t agree with his beliefs. He’s still an amazing actor, and he should be held to that for his movies, and that alone.

I disagree, Maddie. People are entitled to speak with their pocket books. His “religion” has been accused of many abuses, so folks have a right to boycott the face of that cult and the man who sinks lots of $$ into it and draws in people. It’s not a stretch to say that some of your ticket money goes right to Scientology, a group that many may not want to support.
Eh, Scientology or not the Mission Impossible films are awesome.
