Channing Tatum: 'G.I. Joe' Sequel Details!

Channing Tatum will star opposite Detroit 1-8-7 alum D.J. Cotrona and Dwayne Johnson in an upcoming sequel to G.I. Joe!

The film will be directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 3D, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never) and will also star rapper-turned-actor RZA!

D.J. will play Flint, “a Joe soldier best known in the toyline and 1980s comics for his shotgun and beret,” THR reports, while RZA will play a martial arts master who’s trained Joe commandos in the past.

The film is set to be released in August of 2012.
