The movie, based on the 2002 play The Talking Cure, also stars Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, and Black Swan‘s Vincent Cassel.
The film is a look at how the intense relationship between Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud gave birth to psychoanalysis. David Cronenberg, who’s best known for his work on Eastern Promises and A History of Violence, directed the new project.
A Dangerous Method will hit theaters on November 10.

Cronenberg said that the actors were going to use their own accents more or less. She’s not supposed to use a Russian accent and she doesn’t. She speaking in Oxford English.

Then…how do you explain Viggo calling her a Russian girl? How can she be Russian if she doesn’t speak Russian or has a Russian accent? A Russian with an oxford English accent o_O …yeah that doesn’t fly.
