OlderPrince Albert & Princess Charlene: Monaco Royal Wedding!
Prince Albert weds Princess Charlene in a religious ceremony at the Prince’s Palace on Saturday (July 2) in Monaco.
The couple officially tied the knot the day before in a civil ceremony.
Charlene, 33, a former Olympic swimmer from South Africa, wore a Giorgio Armani Privé gown made from off-white silk duchesse with a long train, while Albert, 53, donned a cream-colored summer uniform of the palace guards.
The televised wedding, held inside the palace’s courtyard, included a performance by singer Andrea Bocelli before the couple rode off in a convertible Lexus to greet well-wishers lining the streets.

oh man, i wish i lived in such a nice small country like Monaco!…
I was curious about her, so I watched an interview with she and Albert on youtube. She is rather bland. Maybe she is just shy, but she conveyed having no personality and was very uncomfortable being interviewed. I am surprised she chose a life like this.

It’s always male lineage. So his first born son is Alexandre Coste.
Btw, his father Prince Rainier, was more handsome. And his mother a real beauty. As is his niece Charlotte. Albert is the runt of the brood. Though Stephanie is way too masculine.

She does not look thrilled to be going through with this wedding. She should have tried a little harder to runaway-bride this wedding. I can hardly believe that she had her passport confiscated so she couldn’t leave the country.

I love wedding dresses like this – clean geometric lines rather than either 1)frou-frou or 2)too casual for a wedding. It looks more timeless.

I think he’s marrying her out of duty and to produce heirs. The dress is chic and amazing much better than Kate’s old fashioned one. I hope she finds happiness in her new role and surrounds herself with good loyal people to guide her in her duites. Good luck to her, I think she’ll need it.
