OlderElizabeth Hurley Lands 'Gossip Girl' Role
Elizabeth Hurley will join the upcoming fifth season of Gossip Girl, TV Line reports.
The 46-year-old British actress will appear as Diana Payne in a multi-episode arc, “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with,” according to executive producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran.
“Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters – including, and especially Gossip Girl herself,” the two also hinted.
“Elizabeth’s sense of humor, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her,” Stephanie and Joshua added.

5th season? wow can’t believe the show is on air since 2007 and still alive
4th season wasn’t very good… I hope 5th season will be better!
I’ve always liked Elizabeth Hurley, probably because she’s a bit “wicked” in a British way. So far, her character sounds wonderful…an alpha female feminists can appreciate.

I’m not a fan of Gossip Girl, but I like Elizabeth Hurley and I wish her the best of luck. I would have loved to have seen her in the Wonder Woman pilot, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be.
