OlderPrince William & Kate: Hockey in Yellowknife!
Prince William and wife Kate continue their North American tour with a visit to the Somba K’e Civic Plaza on Tuesday (July 5) in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.
The Duke of Cambridge, 29, tried his hand at street hockey by taking a shot while Kate, also 29, looked on. The couple even got their own red jerseys with “Cambridge” written on the back!
The day before, the newlyweds stopped by Prince Edward Island, where they competed against each other in a friendly boat race across a lake with local athletes.
FYI: Kate is wearing a Malene Birger dress with her favorite L.K. Bennett nude pumps.

I’d get tired of doing this stupid crap every day. They just exist for the fairy tale romantics. They’re really quite pointless.
they are such a great couple. they are so down to earth, when have you seen royals playing hockey or competing in dragon boat races? only kate and william manage to do that and that is why most people love them.
I like them. And I like how Kate is normal and natural and sweet person. She does not pretend, it is just her – nice to everybody, gentle and easy in comunication. I hope she will stay this way.
I’m sort of confused here. Now, someone please enlighten me. What is the importance of these two and why are the paparazzi following them everywhere for doing nothing but ordinary things? Now – if they were helping a blind person cross a busy street and saving puppies from getting run over, I think I’d be a bit more interested. Maybe.
@Weirdness: I can see why people are confused by the amount of attention these two get, but lets face it, not only are they goodlooking, but William and his brother as well as his father donate to hundreds of different charities as well as serve in the military. Since they really don’t have any political power and haven’t for a long time they do use their celebrity to bring attention to important issues. And personally I think flying a search and rescue helicopter is a pretty daring and important service. I think I’d rather have the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge use there influence and make headlines that are worthy than hear about how some Hollywood socialite couldn’t hold their liquor and who they’re sucking face with next.
