Leighton Meester kicks off her heels for a pair of flip flops while walking around the set of Gossip Girl on Thursday (July 7) in New York City.
Earlier in the day, the 25-year-old actress wore a bright, summery outfit while filming scenes on the Upper East Side.
Leighton recently sat down with PopEater to chat about her new film, Monte Carlo, but also gushed about co-star Selena Gomez.
“She’s the most amazing role model,” Leighton shared. “She’ll have full on conversations with her fans – but they’re 6 years old. She is just so wonderful with them.”

I wonder if she kept a straight face when she said that. Selena is boring, generic and talentless. Leighton has more talent and charisma in her pinky finger than Selena has in her whole body.

I think Selena is a fantasic role model. not perfect, but really great. she’s kind to everyone, she dresses her age, she’s full of charisma, she works hard at whatever project she’s doing, and she does lots of charity work. i personally like her. and just because she isn’t acting like a ***** and going out partying every night like the other train wrecks in hollywood doesn’t mean she’s boring. it just means you have sad expectations on what makes someone “interesting”.
most of people here are pathetic! you call selena boring and talentless, yet she has amazing fans and a better life than yours! picking on a young girl like Selena is so low, think twice before criticising someone who makes many people happy. (no like you)

Viewed MONTE CARLO over the weekend with my lil dolly that is 7 years of age, and she LOVED the film!! She adores Selena, and I believe Selena is a talented, grounded, and a classy young lady for girls to admire and be inspired.
Also, Leighton is beautiful as well and I love her fashion sense, style, personality, and adore her, speaking from a Mommy!

Loll, exactly probably most of her fans are 10 and under.. tell me again how wrapping your legs around your underage boyfriend at the beach sets a good example for 6yr olds?
