OlderChord Overstreet: Celebrity Softball Game!
Chord Overstreet makes a throw during the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game held at Chase Field on Sunday (July 10) in Phoenix, Arizona.
The 22-year-old actor tweeted his excitement for the game, saying “gettin ready for mlb allstar weekend in arizona!!!! gonna be a blast!”
“Gettin ready to do some schooling at softball,” Chord tweeted at the start of the game.
While Chord was not made a series regular on Glee for the third season, he reportedly is still welcome on the show and producers hope he’ll show up for filming, according to TVLine.

The producers of Glee should reconsider their decision regarding Chord Overstreet. We are big fans of Glee and also of The Glee Project. We love the music (we also buy the music…) Sam is both one of our favorite characters and one of the best voices. We absolutely loved the introduction of the story line of Sam and Mercedes secretly dating…and were reeaaallly looking forward to that playing out. Please bring back Sam and make Chord Overstreet a permanent addition to Glee!!
