Rihanna is the new global face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans!
The 23-year-old “Man Down” singer shot images for the autumn/winter 2011-12 campaign in New York – the campaign will launch worldwide in September!
Ri joins a long line of celebs to represent the brand, including recent campaign faces Megan Fox, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rafael Nadal, David Beckham, and Victoria Beckham.
Back in May, Ri was spotted spending time with pal Roberta Armani – think they were discussing this campaign?

I don’t think you are sorry at all. She has in fact a very pert bum and small and pert boobs. Nice long legs that are not bony skinny but have shape and are far from fat. A few good reasons why she has been picked to front an Armani campaign and you and I are making anonymous comments on a blog.

No offense to Rihanna fans or herself…But I REALLY miss the days when models got these campaigns. I believe it was what made the model a celebrity in her own right, thus making her a SUPERMODEL. I just get kinda bored of seeing singers/actors taking these campaigns, when I could name a bunch of models (some people wouldn’t even know about) that would be better for things like this….oh well, just my consumer opinion….

@nancyjomac: I understand where you’re coming from. No disrespect, but I remember in the 90′s when there were about a good 5-10 models that were doing all this and were well known. Now unless you’re a VS model, I don’t even know half of them. I mean I’ve just learned some of the new models or new to me in the runway fashion shows. I miss those days a bit.
