Dakota Fanning is really talented, she always has been. She’s held the screen with some powerhouse actors and actresses.

I don’t get why she got flack for not shaving her head in “My Sister’s Keeper” or using a wig for this role. It’s called ACTING. It’s make-believe people! If she was playing a burn victim she wouldn’t torch her face and if her character had scars she wouldn’t slice herself up. Yes, hair grows back but it is not a good look for her and she shouldn’t have to look funny for a year or two for a role. Besides, then she will likely have to wear long haired wigs for other roles! I don’t think cutting your hair makes you a more committed actress. It’s usually a publicity stunt.

I think it’s just her facial expression that’s making her look kinda bad. If she had her head up smiling I’d say it’s pretty.
