OlderRenee Zellweger: 'Bridget Jones The Musical' Coming Soon!
Renee Zellweger holds onto her copy of the book “Fire and Rain” while making her way through LAX airport on Saturday (July 9) in Los Angeles.
The 42-year-old actress’ famous character Bridget Jones will be the basis of an upcoming musical on London’s West End.
“It’s going to give a new perspective,” author Helen Fielding said. “Lily Allen has just completed the songs and they’re fantastic. The music is a really catchy, unusual mixture of all different styles of music. I think people will love it.”
Theatre vet Sheridan Smith will portray Bridget Jones in the musical.
