Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have tied the knot, People reports.
Nick, 37, and Vanessa, 30, were married on Friday (July 15) in front of just 35 friends and family in a tropical island ceremony.
“For us, this is just a stepping stone to do what we ultimately want and that’s to start a family together,” Vanessa told People.
“Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket. We told them they were going away and the attire was ‘island chic.’ It was all very vague,” Nick said about surprising their wedding guests with the location of the event.
Vanessa wore a two-piece Monique Lhuillier ensemble featuring an “intricately embellished lace corset with rose and crystal detail, paired with a signature hand tufted skirt made of silk faille.”

Like Toni said, I won’t be suprised if Jessica gets married within the next week or so. And it wouldn’t shock me either if Jessica decides to televise her wedding just like Nick and Vanessa are going to do. You know Jessica is going to have to top his anyway she can….jeez!
this won’t last. he looks completely miserable in all the pics they take together. at least with jessica he looked happy. imho, he realizes his advanced age and lack of prospects and decided to stay with vanessa instead of looking for something better. he’s invested so many years in her it’s like he had to marry her or start again and then not be a dad until 40s
Bad omen. Every couple I know (including me) who got married on July 15 ended up getting divorced. That’s a very unlucky wedding day. Hopefully they will prove the exception, so congrats.

Congrats to them. I’m happy Nick found someone!! And yeah I agree…can’t wait to see what Jessica does in response to this. Heaven forbid she just say she’s happy for him. She’ll have to try and one up him!!
