Evan Rachel Wood: First Time Emmy Nominee!

Evan Rachel Wood enjoys an afternoon stroll with her rumored on-again boyfriend Jamie Bell on Saturday (July 16) in Venice, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress recently received her first Emmy nomination for outstanding supporting actress in a miniseries or a movie for HBO’s Mildred Pierce.

“I had one eye open in case the phone started ringing…And it did,” she told CNN of the early morning announcement.

“I’m just celebrating in my own way. It’s good to wake up with a smile on your face,” Evan added.

Evan‘s co-stars Melissa Leo and Mare Winningham both earned nominations in the same category, with Kate Winslet recognized in the leading actress category.

“They’re all brilliant, brilliant actresses so it’s just really cool that we’re all being recognized in that way,” Evan concluded.

FYI: Evan is wearing a Dolce&Gabbana leather jacket.
