Jake Gyllenhaal: Back to Work on 'End of Watch'

Jake Gyllenhaal arrives at a police training facility for his new movie, End of Watch, on Thursday (July 21) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actor shaved his head back in April for the cop drama, which co-stars Michael Pena and Anna Kendrick.

Last week, Jake and Michael went for a ride-along with LAPD officers as part of research for their roles – and found themselves in the middle of a real-life crime scene.

The two actors witnessed the aftermath of what police described as a gang-related shooting, according to the L.A. Times.
