Here’s the synopsis: “Georges Duroy (Pattinson) travels through 1890s Paris, from cockroach ridden garrets to opulent salons, using his wits and powers of seduction to rise from poverty to wealth, from a prostitute’s embrace to passionate trysts with wealthy beauties, in a world where politics and media jostle for influence, where sex is power and celebrity an obsession.”
The drama, based on Guy de Maupassant‘s novel, also co-stars Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci and is expected to be released later this year.

I feel like people won’t go to see the movie just because he’s gotten such a bad rep from Twilight. But it actually looks pretty good! Plus I love Christina Ricci.

I hate twilight, but this is my favorite book. And I was afraid he would f-ed up the character, but this is how I imaging him, Can’t wait :)

I liked the Guy de Maupassant novel, so I’m sure I’ll like this movie. It looks true to the book.

@Seriously: What the eff are you talking about ?! Christina Ricci is the cutest thing. And she can act, I’m still wondering to this day why on Earth did she not become a bigger star. Anyway, I’ll definitely watch this movie just because French litterature is the BEST. Off the best. This novel from Guy de Maupassant in particular is amazing. I can’t wait to see it. Hope RPatz did a good job. it actually looks good from that trailer. Looks like the acting is on point, we’ll see.
