Amy Winehouse Dead at 27

Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her London apartment, according to multiple reports.

The Grammy-winning British singer, who battled substance abuse throughout the years and most recently checked into rehab in May, was found Saturday (July 23) in her flat, according to Sky News. She was 27.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed to the BBC that “a 27-year-old woman had died in Camden and that the cause of death was as yet unexplained.”

U.K.’s Daily Mail reports that Amy had been seen with her goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield, earlier in the week as the teen performed during the iTunes festival.

Monte and Avery Lipman, President and CEO, Co-President of Universal Republic Records, respectively, said this in a statement to “We are deeply saddened at the sudden loss of such a gifted musician, artist and performer. Our prayers go out to Amy‘s family, friends and fans at this difficult time.”

This is so sad… She had so much talent. What a shame. Even if she made mistakes, she didn’t deserve this. Nobody does.

One of the greatest tragedies is wasted talent. Amy had talent in spades but an unsettled heart with deep insecurities will always give out too soon.

Although this is not a huge surprise due to her drug abuse, it is a shock. And what makes me so mad at her is that she had so much talent. So very much. I know drugs are an addiction, but she could have been one of the greatest singers of our time.

It is sad that she is dead..Very talented so much so she even never realized the depths of her talents. She was struggling..She is human..She was an Artist.
Yes she died By drugs..And everyone can say Oh it is Drugs and what ever.w

But the truth is When one is an Artist. One feels alot not any more than any human being..But that as an Artist..

One must confront the demons of life on a daily basis..The creativity process..The barrage of Fans..The Music industry..The media scrutiny..Everything…

Could we have cut her some slack absolutely..What she was doing was trying to numb herself and not feel..and too take away any pain that she was feeling and whatever she was dealing with….

She deserved a full life..What she does not deserve is people saying **** about her even when she is dead..
Have some degree of class and feelings People..
Have atleast some feelings for another human being who was we all knew was struggling to LIVE!!!
But Failed to fine the support and the love of people who could help her fight her battles and help her from destroying herself……
