OlderFreida Pinto: 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' Premiere!
Freida Pinto is gorgeous in green as she arrives at the premiere of her new movie, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, on Thursday (July 28) at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old Indian actress stars opposite James Franco in the new film, which was directed by Rupert Wyatt.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes will hit theaters on August 5. Check out the latest trailer if you haven’t seen it yet!

Omg she is unbelievably gorgeous
The lipstick color is quite dark but I actually like it. She pulls it off well IMO. Lovely shoes. I’m not a fan of the dress but she makes it look good. She’s really pretty. She looks amazing in pic 8 and I looooove her tiny cute little smile in picture 7 =)

@James: I don’t know where you live but you have a really wrong vision of what Indian women look like. I live in a place where there are a lot of Indians (and I am even 1/4 Indian myself) and I sure am in the know. I’m not saying a lot of them look like Pinto but there are many many Indian girls who are stunning and by that I mean similarly pretty. Actually you could find girls who resemble her. I have friends who look like her lol. You are just holding a stereotype. A disgusting stereotype that “all Indian women are average to ugly” but let me tell you, if you actually went to India or some islands around it, you’ll see with your own eyes that Indian women can be GORGEOUS. Just like any other community, there’s the pretty and the average. But don’t put them all in the same bin, buddy. You sound ignorant. Oh and travel a little more. Discover countries and its people before saying such a thing. =)

@Yo-Landi: Nope you’re wrong. She has a different facial bone structure, and eye shape. This makes her unique. I’ve seen hundreds of Indian girls before and most have similar features, and aren’t that attractive in my opinion. Freida is exception. I think Freida is prettier than Aishwarya Rye — her face is too generic and she wears too much makeup.
Indian women are HANDS DOWN the most beautiful women I have EVER seen. She is flawless. Her skin is out of this world! WOW! Ashwarya who? lol!

I used to think Aishwarya was the perfect Indian beauty, but looking at Freida makes me want to reconsider. Some people are so mean to Freida saying she’s got no talent and she’s ugly, but she’s beautiful. And Freida is more of a good representation of Indian women because she looks very Indian from the gorgeous skin to the features, the hair, and everything. Freida is a good role-model for Indian girls.
She is ok and look average Indian girl. Her look is so common in India. Infact my friend’s maid in India looks just like her except Freida dresses nice. Ashwarya is one stunning looking indian woman.
