    Is the song really live?

    Sadie Says:

Do they lip sync at all of their concerts or just this one because it’s going to be on DVD?

    Emma Says:

Naya Rivera definitely sang this live at every show, but this video has her studio version dubbed over it :/

    Nicole Says:

    @Dina:

No the actual audio has been pasted over with the studio version of the song, because they don’t want that to be heard before it’s actually released.

    Gleek Says:

@Dina I think it is. Naya is a great singer, especially live.

    Celia Says:

It’s sick that Glee is using Amy’s death to promote their movie. I went to the concert and I’m pretty sure Naya lip-synched. Only a few of them sang live. Watching someone lip-synch to her song is hardly a great tribute to Amy and it shouldn’t be used to promote the Glee movie.

    Alaia Says:

Of course they have to crap on everything. I’m so glad that the majority of credible artists declined to have their music be butchered on this show.

    B2B Says:

How is it a “Tribute” if it was filmed WAY before Amy’s passing?!
How disgusting for Glee to USE Amy’s death as a way to promote their nasty little movie!!!
    Sick….i

    Shawna Says:

Celia – if someone is lip synching to their own voice it is still them singing. Duh! That is Naya’s voice, if it happens to be pre-recorded beforehand it is still her singing. And I went to the concert in Toronto and I do not believe they were lip synching.

    frnak Says:

@Emma: please she didn’t sing it live at most of the shows. Maybe two or three tops.

    jdub Says:

    Yea she’s lip-synching, but it’s NAYA’S voice. It’s not like it’s Naya lip-synching to Amy’s voice….everyone needs to calm down

WTH r u talking about Says:

@Alaia: by the majority you mean 4 or 5 . Most have given permission. Please they have sung everyone form The Rolling Stones, Queen, Gaga, Billy Joel, Elton John, Bon Jovi, the Supremes, Neil Diamond, Barbra Stesiand, The Pretenders, The Police, Madonna, Van Halen, Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Paramoure, Bob Marley, The Carpenters, My Chemical Romance, George Thourghgood, Adele and Fleetwood Mac. Too bad none of them are creditable.

@jdub: I don’t think anyone is really freakin out here. Anyway it doesn’t song good.

    Naya is sooooooo AWESOME!

    Alaia Says:

@WTH r u talking about: Most of those artists are mainstream artists who are probably forced into having their song being on Glee by their record producers/people who want the money. I don’t think we will be hearing Radiohead on this show any time soon. PJ Harvey? Don’t think so! K.D. Lang, The Smashing Pumpkins, Paul Weller, The Smiths, The Strokes, Pixies, The Flaming Lips, M83, Velvet Underground or Van Morrison? Don’t think so!

    Alaia Says:

@WTH r u talking about: Oh, and Paramore and My Chemical Romance? Credible? LOL.

    jacqueline Says:

I watched some videos of the concerts and she seemed to be singing live, I don’t know why they replaced this with the studio version, hopefully they don’t do it in the movie.
It’s really sad how Ryan Murphy and whoever else is responsible for all that is using Amy’s death to promote the film, they don’t have to do that and shouldn’t have.

    Just me Says:

Well….its not that much about promoting the video, but since this song is one of the biggest hits on tour they had to mention somehow Amy..I dont see it as using her death… its just it was on the series…it was on the tour and yes it will be on the movie…so somehow after all they have to pay tribute to her as an artist who unfortunately is gone now….the show must go on… nd i like how Naya Rivera sings it…she has this smtg in her voice that sounds so sexy…
as for the ones who are more concerned if she sings live or not…gosh ppl get over urselves nd enjoy it…or just change the channel …why sitting her nd wasting time bitching ?:)

    tara Says:

@Emma: she definitely did NOT sing it live in any of the shows, neither did most of the singers on glee, Amber sang live…you can clearly hear the difference, just watch any of the clips on youtube, they all sound exactly the same…sorry to burst your bubble

    Louise Says:

I think it’s pretty tasteless to be promoting a movie off the back of Amy’s death.

You can call it a tribute as much as you want but your still selling something at the end of the day.
