OlderJames Franco: 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' Premiere
James Franco suits up for the premiere of his latest movie, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, on Thursday (July 28) at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old actor stars opposite Freida Pinto and Tom Felton (pictured inside) in the new film, which is a prequel to Planet of the Apes.
It was announced earlier in the week that James will reprise his role as performance artist and serial killer Franco on General Hospital in September!

He needs to rest, take a year off or something. I heard he was going to teach art? So he goes to school, act on soap operas, directing a new movie, writes, has degrees everywhere, and now is rumored to be an art teacher??!?! His poor body. I would be dead.

I’m a big fan of the Planet of the Apes movies, but I won’t be watching this one. I’m sick and tired of seeing JF face everywhere I turn.
I used to think he was kind of cute in a quarky, do-his-own-thing kind of way, but it appears lately that he’s more of a quarky, do-his-own-thing douche bag who thinks his stuff is somehow cool and indie. Sorry, I think he’s just full of himself, and a dirty scrub.
