Josh Hutcherson: Peeta at the Bakery!

Author Suzanne Collins sat in for Josh‘s audition and explained why he scored the coveted role.

“People may get thrown, say, by the color of an actor’s hair, or something physical,” she told the mag. “But I tell you, if Josh had been bright purple and had six foot wings and gave that audition, I’d have been like, ‘Cast him! We can work around the wings.’ He was that good.”

The Hunger Games has a strong storyline. Even if people aren´t happy with the cast, The Hunger Games will not turn out to be the next Twilight.

LOVED him in The Kids Are Alright!! I definitly think he can pull it off and have the charm that Peeta has in the book.
I also have a mad girl-crush on Jennifer Lawrence and was obsessed with the books when I read them. Really looking forward to the movie!

To be honest, now that the author has given her say, I actually have no gripe about the casting. Having said that, I’m not familiar with the books. But if the author approves this strongly of the casting, that can’t be a bad thing. The whole story was her vision after all.

He looks hott and everthing. LOVE the pic but why is his hair so dark?

The boy with the bread..CAN’T *****NG WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE ANYMORE

Ok I really love this.
If I thought he was gonna look this good as Peeta, I never would have complained…

I love that the author, Suzanne Collins, was actually part of the casting. Makes me look forward to this movie that much more.

Im getting used to him, but in the entertainment weekly shoot he had blonde hair, and now he has brown??
