Drew Barrymore Directs Best Coast's 'Our Deal' Video

Check out the Drew Barrymore-directed video for “Our Deal” by American indie rock band Best Coast, featuring Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey and Kick-Ass actress Chloe Moretz!

Drew was inspired by West Side Story, Romeo & Juliet, and Style Wars for the new video from MTVX and Mean.

Here’s a rundown of the video: While Lucky (Tyler Posey) hails from the Day Trotters graffiti crew, Veronica (Chloe Moretz) is from rival gang the Night Creepers. As they fall in love one day, they are torn apart by the gangs’ rivalry and the unfortunate beating of fellow Night Creeper (Miranda Cosgrove) led by Day Trotters (Donald Glover and Shailene Woodley). This begins a turf war that ends tragically for the two lovers.

Arrested Development‘s Alia Shawkat also stars.

I liked the videoand most people in it especially Chloe but is it just me or is it a bit weird how a 20 year old is french kissing a 14 year old in this video?

@Ick!: In A Cinderella Story, Chad Michael Murray was 6 years older than Hilary Duff. In the not-as-good sequel, Drew Seeley was about 10 years older than Selena Gomez. It’s weird, but it’s been done.

It’s just acting, Chloe is probably playing someone older and Tyler someone younger… anyway, GREAT job, Drew Barrymore!
I was gonna watch this because of Chloe Grace Moretz and Miranda Cosgrove and now I found out she directed and it also stars Tyler Posey!
Had never heard of the band before, though.

He could’ve written the whole message on the same side of the wall… dumb. But it’s really beautiful and touching. Loved the song! And I frickin’ love Chloe and Miranda! Really admire Drew and Tyler is very lovely, I like Teen Wolf… and could barely notice Shailene.
Casting director is a GENIUS!

This was awesome! I find it funny that Dylan OBrien said in an interview that he loved Chloe Moretz and had a “crush” on her and now Tyler Posey gets to be in this vid with her. Hopefully Dylan will get to be in a music vid with her one day :)
