OlderTom Hardy & Christian Bale: Bane & Batman Battle!
Tom Hardy walks around shirtless on the set of The Dark Knight Rises while his co-star Christian Bale films scenes with a Bane stunt double on Wednesday (August 3) in Pittsburgh, Penn.
Later in the day, the 33-year-old British actor put on his Bane gear to film some scenes alongside Christian.
Tom recently chatted with Total Film magazine about being asked to do the film.
“‘You’re asking me to come round the world with you in a Batman movie, playing a villain, and the only downside to it is I have to wear a mask?’” Tom joked. “‘Hmmm, let me think. I’ll get back to you… No, I’m f–ing there, man!’ …Any time you put something over your face, you’re going to adopt a personality and a physicality that has nothing to do with acting. It allows a performance to be free.”

Tom wouldn’t be using steroids because he is a recovering addict. That is RIDICULOUS. Besides,my boyf is a trainer and the extra protein / occasional creatine when hes bulking up,not too mention the amount you sweat during a big workout easily causes breakouts like that. Tom’s body wouldn’t be able to adapt to it so quickly(:
