    @Rachal (): You seem to have changed the spelling of your name.

    @Zola24:

    Shower scene is not till Ep #8 not #7 airing tonight.
    But I hear there is some good E/S stuff tonight too!

    I wonder of Alex will show up at the TCA awards tonight? Not sure he will fly across the country though since his new film with Julianne Moore starts shooting this week in NYC.

    @ladybug:
    True, although it’s not like there is a bunch of stellar acting on TB. Really, a lot of it is just mediocre but Alex is always good, and Denis was fantastic. Kristen is a standout too. Other than that everyone else is pretty medium to me.

    @Zola24:
    Thanks! I try not to read too much because it’s annoying but they do have decent photos.

  • Camille

    Ah I see thumbs down troll is back. Good times! Pffffffff!

  • ladybug

    @Camille: I think Ryan’s acting is always overlooked, because of the character of Jason. I think the leads are fine.
    Yep, the thumb fairy/namestealing troll is back.
    @Dani, TCA awards were last night.

  • Camille

    @ladybug:
    Ryan is good, I had no idea he was Australian until the second season. LOL! But they haven’t given him anything really to work with lately, so that doesn’t help.

  • seeshay

    @Camille: agree. I thought Denis O’Hare deserved a nomination for last season. Honestly, no one else, not even Alex. The writers had his Eric character all over the place last season, and even the best actor can’t rescue weak material IMO. I thought the S2 Dallas story line was deserving though of some recognition. This season’s Eric seems more consistent, tho still not on screen very much time, so let’s hope he gets some more respect for this season.

  • Rachal :)

    @ladybug: No that the spelling of my last name??? Have we met???

  • ladybug

    @seeshay: Well, the spine-ripping probably put them off Denis’ performance, sad to say.
    Even though the books are nearly complete different from the series, the series still has problems with the same characters, what to do with Tara, Jason, Arelene. There are times when neither Charlaine Harris nor the TB writers can figure out what to do with them. IMO.

  • Rachal :)

    @Debbie: I met him once 3 years ago, super nice and polite. Loved him Generation Kill

  • Rachal :)
  • Rachal :)

    @Larissa: I’m happy for all the actors on the show. I’m enjoying the ride both CH and AB have created.

  • Rachal :)

    @Mike the Tike: Thanks we will. LOL

  • Rachal :)

    @Britt: And that’s a bad thing or just the greatest thing ever.

  • Rachal :)

    @ren: Just skip to the next story. I’m loving my Alex time. :)

  • Bobby

    @Rachal :): He was awesome in Generation Kill. It’s one of my favorite war mini-series. Loved the Walmart and shitting scene.

  • Lip Gloss

    @Bobby: Loved it when they sang Teenage Dirtbag. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXjXmvy-c34

  • Rachel()

    @Rachal (): Really? I wished I’d dreamed it. How was the wedding?

  • Camille

    @seeshay:
    That could be part of the problem. Not enough screen time to warrant a nomination perhaps. It’s pretty hard to give someone an Emmy if they’re only getting 5 minutes per show.

    @ladybug:
    With them supposedly killing off a major character, I’m hoping it’s Tara. She’s completely annoying and useless. I like Rutina, but they screwed her character up royally.

  • Rachel()

    @Camille: I may get to catch up onTB tonight!
    I don’t mind Tara as much as I used to, but who knows…

  • Greta

    They are supposed to kill off a major character? God I hope it’s Bill! But you’re probably right, it’ll be someone lame, like Andy or Terry.

  • Zola24

    @Dani: Oh sorry, those tweets were getting me confused – doesn’t take much. Whispers: “Haven’t watched TB, not even for the plot, since Season 2 ‘cos it just makes me cross. Prefer to watch the AS/EN highlights which JodyK78 downloads to youtube each week.” End of whispering.

  • ladybug

    @Rachel(): Oh, good, so if we accidentally mention something from the first 1/2 of the seaosn we won’t spoil anything for you? :)
    I like Tara when she’s kick-a** but not stupid. If only the writers could figure out what they wanted her to be.
    I suspect a lot of minor characters will dead by the end of this season. Which will allow AB to introduce new and unnecessary minor characters (perhaps he’ll bring in Quinn).

  • chelle

    What’s up with all the thumbs down??

  • ladybug

    @Greta: I do wonder what they consider ‘major’? To me the leads are Eric/Sookie/Bill. Then Jason/Tara/Pam/Laffy/Alcide/Jess. And then everyone left over. This doesn’t count the non-regular/short term only characters, like Maryanne or Marnie.

  • chelle

    @ladybug: Do you think they will get Eric his memory back with no memory of his amnesia like in the books? I hope so. That is part of the fun.

  • ladybug

    @chelle: I hope so, at least for awhile. I enjoyed that part of the books, he knew something had happened between them, and even with Sookie finally having to confirm it, he still couldn’t remember, not for almost a year. It drove him nuts, and that was amusing.

  • Lip Gloss

    @Greta: In the trailer it looks like Jessica walks outside during the day. Blackburn seems interesting, I wonder if he show his fangs in season 5. :)

  • Rachal :)

  • Sass

    @ Lip Gloss – Blackburn comes across as a young vamp but in his bio it states he’s older then Eric but possibly younger then Russel. I’m so happy with the show. Personally I hope Sookie ends up in an Eric and Bill sandwich with Laf and Pam watching :). What can I say I’m Canada we’re kinky up here, blame it on the weather :)

  • Sass

    @Back to Reality: Play nice it’s just a forum.

  • Sass

    @Mel: Answer not nearly enough.

  • ladybug

    @Lip Gloss: So far I think he’s only a Season 4 character.

  • chelle

    @ladybug: Wouldn’t they have to do it that way if they bring in Quinn? Sookie hooked up with him because Eric didn’t remember anything.

  • ladybug

    @chelle: Quinn could be interesting because so very many bookies hate his character (I actually sort of like him). So if they have him, will be as book Quinn and say ‘babe’ all the time? And who would play him?

  • Dani

    It is finally Sunday! New True Blood episode tonight and the Boston Herald has given fans a new reason to think WAITING SUCKS! Based on their spoilers below it looks like episode 43 will be another action filled one. SPOILER ALERT:

    The undead face their greatest threat in tonight’s episode of HBO’s “True Blood” (at 9 p.m.).

    In “Cold Grey Light of Dawn,” Marnie (Fiona Shaw) is gone. Her body has been taken over by the 400-year-old witch Antonia, who, as flashbacks revealed, died a gruesome death during the Spanish Inquisition and has good cause to want payback. With her powers, she can compel vampires to walk into the sunlight – to their own fiery doom.

    Bill (Stephen Moyer) quickly realizes she could massacre them all. His plan to save his subjects is almost as deadly as the sun itself.

    Meanwhile, Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) take their lovemaking to just about every part of Bon Temps it seems, much to the distress of Alcide (Joe Manganiello). Eric decides he doesn’t want his memory back if the price is losing Sookie’s love. LORD HAVE MERCY!!

    …..ok guys did it not say in the books that Eric made love to Sookie everywhere possible??
    …..also seriously can Alcide just go away, amazing abs & all….ugh lol

    It amazes me how so many can have a common interest and yet so much hate appear. To the folks who admire Alexander Skarsgard I say hello and may today be a great one. For the haters I have nothing but good wishes too. For I may not agree with you but I will not belittle anyone with negativity today.

    @ladybug: WTF??? I am so over the childishness that comes to this place just to make trouble. It’s almost not even worth the effort to come here anymore

  • Debbie

    @texas swede:
    Nicely said. This and the KB thread turned into the internet equivalent of Tottenham High Road only with slightly less looting… Why can’t I like Eric AND Bill? Neither of them are all good or all bad. And with that I must leave as teasers and spoilers abound and this Eric/Alex and Bill/Stephen appreciator likes to go into each episode with little idea of what’s about to happen.
    .
    Back tomorrow to stick the letter u into words you weren’t expecting. Btw, when did writing f**pping the b**d become problematic? Bonkers!

  • http://none texas swede

    @Debbie: Not sure when the bird became such a problem. Wonder if flying the feather is too?

  • Sass

    @Rachal :): I guess Elvis has left the building. However I can understand why AB has omitted the King. But it’s funny that Jason refers to Hoyt as Bubba. :D

  • Camille

    @Rachel():
    Awesome, then we can get your thoughts on what’s happened.

    @chelle:
    I hope they don’t bring Quinn in, but if they do then I hope he’s a lot less annoying than he was in the books.

    @ladybug:
    Count me in as one of the people who couldn’t stand him and his constant “baby” talk. I found that super cheesy.

  • chelle

    @Camille: Maybe they wil leave out the “babe” crap

  • ladybug

    @chelle: Is that about my link or the general trollishness that’s infected this and recent threads?
    AB has said there’ll be no Bubba because you’d have to use an Elvis impersonator and he doesn’t want that.
    As for Quinn, maybe he can show up, call Sookie ‘babe’ and she can slap him?
    Debbie, I too had f.l.i.p.p.i.n.g the b.i.r.d asterixed out. Which is very odd, considering shi*** made through unasterixed. Maybe JJ needs to work on the naughty words filter and tweak it a bit.
    I like to mock Bill sometimes, but I do like his character. Would be boring if he were like Eric.

  • Canuck

    @Camille: Someone suggested on E-online that if Quinn makes it into TB, they cast Jason Momoa. http://www.roughcutreviews.com/images/jason_momoa.jpg. I didn’t like the character of Quinn (the “babe” stuff annoyed the cr*p out of me), but if he gets written nto the series, Momoa is a pretty decent choice. Be nice if they could skip the 70′s lounge lizard dialogue though…

  • Debbie

    @ladybug:
    Might be fun to see if ‘english’ profanities make it through the filter. I’m sure Bill referred to someone as a wanker during the 80′s London ‘punk’ flashback. ;)
