Avril Lavigne steps out on the blue carpet at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 7) at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.
The 26-year-old singer, who wore her own Abbey Dawn designs, just wrapped up her South American tour with a performance in Brazil.
“Last show of the south american tour!!! LETS KICK SOME ASS BRASILIA BRAZIL!!!!” Avril tweeted before her final show.
Next month, Avril will head to Europe for the next leg of her tour!
The 2011 Teen Choice Awards airs live TODAY (August 7) at 8 p.m. on FOX. The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco is hosting the show!

Avril is beautiful. But the truth is that I have seen many famous in a dress almost identical. It looks like a resort that never fails.
Okay, so every one is saying the dress was terrible on her. I think she paired the simple yet stunning dress perfectly with the bold shoes, and small amount of makeup. I think she has the right body for a dress like that, and it’s classier than most things she wears. I also think people should leave her alone about her figure. People are saying she’s too fat for that tight dress, but Avril is in perfect shape, especially under Hollywood’s “pressure to be skinny”. You go, Avril!
