Check out Rooney Mara in the trailer for her new film, Tanner Hall!

The 26-year-old actress stars as Fernanda, who is entering her senior year at Tanner Hall, a sheltered boarding school in New England.

She’s faced with unexpected changes in her group of friends when a childhood acquaintance, the charismatic yet manipulative trouble-maker, Victoria (Georgia King) appears.

Usually the voice of reason among her friends, Fernanda decides to take some risks when she starts a complicated friendship with Gio (Tom Everett Scott), an older family friend.

Tanner Hall, directed by Tatiana von Furstenberg and Francesca Gregorini, and also starring Shawn Pyfrom, hits select theaters Sept. 9!

Well, that wasn’t a very promising trailer. Still I think I’d be interested in anything Rooney does. Such a talented and watchable actress!
